Copy No..... VISIT OF THE PRIME MINISTER OF AUSTRALIA ON JULY 2ND, 1918. Attached herete is a provisional programme-of arrangements to en- ablo the Honcurable the Prime Minister of AUSTRALIA to see as many as possible of tho Trocps of the Australian Corps during Tuesday, July 2nd. In the time-table, the second clock time named at each place is the time at which the visiting party must leave that place, in order to arrive at the next locality by the time stated. At each locality, the Troops are to be assembled in as compact a formation as circumstances permit, to enable the Prime Minister to address them if he so desires.- No time will be available to alter the formation after the arrival of the party. The Senior Officer at each locality will be presented to the Prime Minister and will then present only his most senior officers, as time will not permit of junior officers being presented. The assembly of Troops at each locality is not to be confined te the Unit named.in the tabulation.- Representatives of any other units which are billeted or located within easy walking reach of oach local- ity are also to be assembled, by the Senier Offic er, at the locality named. In every case, wherever possible, the Troops are to be assembled under cover of woods or trees, so as to reduco the risk of enemy observation from the air. The aim should be to have representative parades rather than full parades, not more than 1000 men to be assembled at any one spot. Order of dress, turn out, and formatien to be adopted are left to the discretion of the Senior Officer at each locality. The A.D.C. to the Corps Commander will visit Commanders to arrange all other details.
