The G.O.C., A.I.F. has approved of the appointment of
the following officers as a committee to consider the applications
received from officers of the A.I.F. for appointment to
commissions in the Permanent Military Forces and to make recommendations
as to whom should be nominated by the G.O C., A.I.F.
to the Department of Defence -
Major-General Sir J. Monash, K.C.B., V.D.,
Major-General C.B.B. White, CB., CMG., DSO., ADC.,
Brig-General C.H.Foott, CMG.,
Brig-General W.A.Coxen, CMG., DSO. will advise the
Committee, if required, on the qualifications &c. of artillery
officers.
The file of correspondence containing the applications
and remarks of Divisional Commanders &c. will be made available
as and when required by the Committee.
