moonlight the fire Trench
& Wire Entanglements had
to be put off for a cuple
of nights.
Terracing has been pushed
on. Communication saps
to Franklins has been
improved & to Newbury's
carried on. A Tunnel has
been started on at Newburys
which will lead out to a
new firing position in
front and will also make
by cross cutting tunnels

Shelters are in course of
construction at Franklins
Newburys & Beck Bluff also
Barricade.
The tunnel for the new
firing line at Newburys
is being carried on.
Morse tunnel has been
widened & steps being made.
New firing line at No 2 & 3 Post has been
laid out last night by
the Engineers, & we will
now commence to proceed
with work of same.
The well is down about
20 feet, no signof water
up to date, still sinking
