Owing to all night bright
moonlight the fire Trench 
& Wire Entanglements had
to be put off for a cuple
of nights.
Terracing has been pushed 
on. Communication saps
to Franklins has been
improved & to Newbury's
carried on. A Tunnel has
been started on at Newburys
which will lead out to a 
new firing position in
front and will also make
by cross cutting tunnels
shelters for supports

Theyer trenches without exposing

note what damage was done
by our shots. Our shots on

one man was observed to be hit
on the the Turks are covering 
same sap with Timber & 
sand bags
General Nothing of Importance
has occurred during the 24hours
except of one turkish 75 m/m got

SHELTERS FOR SUPORTS

Shelters are in course of
construction at Franklins
Newburys & Beck Bluff also
Barricade.
The tunnel for the new
firing line at  Newburys
is being carried on.
Morse tunnel has been
widened & steps being made.
New firing line at No 2 & 3 Post has been
laid out last night by
the Engineers, & we will
now commence to proceed
with work of same.
The well is down about
20 feet, no signof water
up to date, still sinking
