Progress of Works.
1)Terracing of Bivouac area
has been commenced today
2) Communication trench to
Franklin's has been improved
by putting in over head traverses
same sap deepened at East end
steps being made
3) Beck's The rear fire trench was
pushed on and expect to be
completed in a couple of days
the sap to right front was
improved.
General Information.
N12 m.g. was fired on by rifle
apears to be a stray bullet the M.G.
was damaged same is been
repaired now.

at 0200 noticed 'X' enemy digging

on the end of Hackney Knoll
nearest to Franklin's also

the left which was halted by
