CIRCULAR MEMORANDUM TO BRIGADES
Copy New Zealand and Australian Division's N G 634 dated
4th November is attached for information and action. The question
of closer cooperation, particularly in case of night attack, is
one which was already engaging attention..
2. The following allotment of batteries to Bridages of Infantry
is now brought into action force.
1st A.L.H. Brigade ( H.Q. 80 B 5).
One section N/69
3rd A.L.H. Brigade (H.Q. 80. I 3).
4in Battery and same section D/69
7th A.I. Brigade (H.Q. 80. D 8).

For this purpose, this Brigade may be considered as having
the same front as the7th Brigade and no guns are specially
allotted tas to it.

3. In connection with this allotment artillery brigade
commanders will arrange for telephonic communication direct between
batteries and infantry brigadesconcerned and will also arrange
that night lines are 1aid to the satisfaction of the infantry.
In the case of the APEX and HILL 60 arrangementsfornight lines
will be made by this office.
4. In the event of one infantry brigade relieving
another, the incoming brigade will, of course, take over the
artillery from the outgoing one.

DISEMBARKATION.
1. It is impossible to say how long the
Troops will remain on board, but O.C's
Units will see that they are ready to
disembark at an hours notice, at any
time.
RATIONS.
2. Quarter Master Sergeants together with
fatigue parties from their Units will
parade at No 8 hold for the issue of
Iron rations at 9 as tomorrow morning.
INSPECTION.
3. There will be no Inspection tomorrow.
CLEANLINESS.
4. Officer commanding all Units are
responsible that the portion of the SHIP
occupied by the Troops under their command
are left on disembarkation in a perfectly
clean and satisfactory condition.
