Communication - We have had
difficulty in keeping in communication
with the right during the last few
days AAA Had we had communication
during the attack yesterday it would
have made considerable difference.
I suggest that the Aust Bgde, which
has releived the marines on our
right be asked to communicate by
flag at the bottom of their left crest. with Mr Hamilton.
Periscopes I understand all those
in the trenches at present are
unfit for use we require at
least Six. If the glass can be
made larger & the stick longer
it would be an improvement
