Dear Mr. McNaught,
From time to time it may be necessary for
me to send you sundry Brigade documents for safekeeping for Col Monash until
we return. I forward you herewith cheque for 17/6d. and
shall be glad if you will kindly purchase an ordinary steel
travelling trunk in which the papers forwarded to you may be
conveniently stored under lock and key. All documents forwarded
will be suitably endorsed on the envelopes so that
you will know they are for storage.
I think you will be able to purchase a
sufficiently large box for the amount sent, if not, kindly pay
the difference and let me know the amount involved.
I might have mentioned that this arrangement
is concurred in by Colonel Monash.

1. Referring to Convoy Orders issued by Military Board
dated 17-12-14 and promulgated with Convoy Order No. 1 of
24-12-14, issued by Senior Military Officer, Second Australian
Convoy, the following amendments are to be noted
by all concerned :-
(a) INTER-COMMUNICATIOM. (Reference page 3, Military Board's Orders.)
Paragraphs 6(a), (b), and (c) are to be suspended in as much as the whole of the arrangements for intercommunication will be controlled exclusively by the Principal Transport Officer.
(b) MAILS. (Reference page 8, Military Board's Orders.)

(c) ORDERLY FOR BRIDGE DUTIES. (Reference page 11, Military Board's orders.)
