ready to join them again
ready for a bit more
work. There is some
rumor goin round that
the Australians troops
are goin to England for
a spell which they

could do with I can tell
you & by jove I only
hope its true dont you.
I surpose if they send
us home, after the spell
they will send us on to
France which will be
a bit of a change wont
it I don't think it can
be much worse than here
only for that gas but it
wont be long before
they are using it here.
Well & how are things
goin on at home I hope
they are alright which
I surpose they are. I
wonder if any more of our

relations have joined the
army & how is Ralphy
goin on has he arrived in
Egypt yet. I hope there
are some letters on the
way for me & that
parcel with the toffeys
in it by jove it makes
my mouth water to
think of it after this
dry bully beef & biscuits.
Well I don't think I have
much more to say so I
will now close
I remain
Your loving son
Bob
