Dear Mother & Father,
You must
have thort I have forgoten
you well I have had another
change since I last wrote
but not I in job but in
district we have moved
from Moonee Ponds back to
Melbourne, our boss seems
fairly for busie, the new
shop is much biger than
the last & it is abouve a
printers on the third floor
its just the thing with
plenty of tables at the back
under neath & in front of us
I had a week off last week I while they were moving
& for a couple of days at
home I made up 3 kitchen
tables & put then in the
sale room & I got 12/6 each
1
for them the timber in cost about
5/- each so I made 22 /6
in 2 days which was not
too bad was it. The rest
of the time I went fishing
down at Port Melbourne
for fish & called Barra
Couta I count 11 altogether
which was not so bad
for they are about 3/ 3'6"
long & weigh about 6lb each
so I spent my week in
half holiday & half work
I am now on wih with 2
bedroom suits 1 in oak & 1
in walnut I am on wih with
the walnut one now which
is pretty big in the wash
stand & dressing th table
are 4' long each & h the
robe 5' with oval mirrors
in the doors. Well now to
be in fasion we must
speak about the war I say
its pretty bad isint it
I have just recieved your

letter & paper tonight mar &
you say I ought to think
mysely lucky I am away
from it well I do but agian
I feal I would like to be
with you all again & help
to share with your troubles
I am very sory to here that
poor Untie Kate is so bad
& I must write to them
again & I sinciely hope
she will soon get better
again. Well I think I have
just about given you the
lot & I will now close
hopping one & all are well
at home

PS You say in your letter
did have to pay any more
on the photo & parcel the
answer is no not a penny
but I a enclosing a newspaper

wraper wear they an extra penny
on it what for I don't know for
all the of others have come through
for a penny & so have thoes since
you will see the extra stamp on it.
I am also sending a newspaper
with the name antill ink
