This night a spy was found crossing
| Canal - (see beginning of next Diary)
Aeroplane coming down
to abt 100 feet ∧ dropped a note & warned them
tt there were 300 Turks not
far away.
They have seen | tracks of
a man up to infantry lines,
but nothing else.
There are traces of last years
Turkish attack all along the long
valley leading S.E from Tussum- [[?Serapeium]]
 ^Turks Men died miles back from | canal-either
stragglers or wounded.

company camped at each
