9/10/16 Birts advise 3450 tons copra to be loaded after Zinc & lead

weight & copra for London.  ?& wheat
— Various alterations in ^sources of lead & concentrate ^for A'dale made during

this period.
14/11/16. Left Sydney Nov. 11 for U.K.  Due Durban Dec 11.

14/6/17 Arrived Fremantle June 12. Expects complete discharge
cargo. by June 21. Then proceeds to Geraldton to load wheat.
4/7/17 Arrived Geraldton June 24 to load 2219 bales wool.
& balance cargo wheat — delayed by rough weather
having to leave jetty & anchor in Bay 
13/7/17 Arrived Fremantle Juy 9 from Geraldton, sailed 11th

31/8/17 Proceeded to dock pier Aug 15 Work at State Dock suspended
24th owing to Strike. Non union labour is now being obtained
Crew resigned.

3/7/16 Taken over at Baltimore 15 June now en route America-Leghorn.
Running under Admiralty requisition
10/8/16. Steamer at present carries Chinese crew. Larkin
made inquiries with a view to arrg. to substitute white crew
at P.Said, but learned that their present articles do not expire
until 16 Dec 1916. & further that a European crew unobtainable
there. Will consequently require to proceed to Aust.
with present crew & they will be available to bring her
home again, but in event of local labour conditions
in Aust. necessitating a change being made there
Chinese crew wd have to be repatriated.
4/8/16. Loading full cargo salt Port Said next week for
Singapore or Penang. Replenishes bunkers Colombo.
Can you offer rice cargo Rangoon–Aust if not will
despalch vessel to Aust in ballast in which case
estimate she will be available for wheat loading
mid-Oct.
15/8/16 (from Aust) Cannot offer rice cargo. So advise come in ballast
26/8/16 Not fitted with wireless
6/10/16 May proceed direct to Bunbury to load without
coming to Fremantle.
9/10/16 Brits advise 3450 tons copra to be load after lead
& zinc.

10/10/16 Due Fremantle Oct 9 from Colombo in ballast.
Load wheat Bunbury. Bunkers Fremantle.
12/10/16. Reported in dock at Singapore. Due leave for Fremantle in
about 19 Oct.
20/10/16. Has 1000 tons general cargo for Fremantle. Expected leave
Singapore Oct 19.
3/11/16 Arrived Fremantle Nov 1. Leaves for Bunbury on
5th to load wheat.
14/11/16 Left Fremantle for Bunbury 9 Nov.
