at Poona 1200 beds - Aust matron 50 Aust sisters
A/Fs 12 mths work mostly medical as Mespot
Hospls equipped. Cholera outbreak by inoculn &
isoln kept down to 60 at Poona. looked
serious

6 Sisters - 100 beds, later 1200 beds, staff
over 50.
In a Pictureque locality on beautiful
highland scenery of the Westn Ghats.
Varied service a wonderful exper.

There ws a camp of 14000 near Poona
& from there patients were mostly drawn.
Later when hospls in Mespot better
equipped, severe cs were kept there.

Secunderabad, Southern India. 2000
beds, previously barracks of 7 Hussars. Mainly
Convalesct Hospl 7 m from town. (Trimulgherry
ws 4 m away). Prices of Boxwallahs genly
went up "Aust. Sisters plenty money"
Closed Sept 8. 1918.
got from Sisters qrs to wards (1 mile)
in Bullock waggons

Belgaum a plateau station, delightful, in
Mysore. 200 beds - good climate.
4 Austln Sisters - full staff; a very nice United
Service Club.

Bombay) 2nd largest mil stn in India
No 18 opend for Waziristan fighting. but
sevly wd kept at Tank & Dera Ismail
Khan. 
5 AAMS sent to Rawalp. June 1917
Hospl. closed after 3 m. (reopened later)

cd travel sent them to Murree , cooler.
Many aftwds mental but recovd in Hills,
Ward boys went sick from fright. November
