Dear Baz,

Your letter No. 1020 of the 11th May to hand. In

connection with the Staff of the 2nd Anzac for April 1916,

I am forwarding herewith three lists as under :-

These lists have been extracted from Official

publications published by G.H.Q. Egypt, showing the

composition of the Headquarters of the M.E.P., British Forces

in Egypt, and British Forces in Salonika. I regret that no

list of the Staff of 2nd Anzac is held for April 1916 at the

that month. I should think, however, that it would be

unlikely to vary from that shown on the list of the 10th May.

I have forwarded the March lists as these might help you by

comparing with the May list and other records, to determine

the composition of the Staff in April. The regiments of the

Staff Officers given in the lists.
