VISIT TO BERLIN
1. With regard to the visit to BERLIN of a representative party of the
Contingent, the following arrangements have been made :-
Embark at DOVER 19 Jun 46
Depart CALAIS, by rail 1957hrs 19 Jun 46
Atr MUNSTER 1420hrs 20 Jun 46

BERLIN.
Timings for departure from LONDON will be notified as soon as received from
Headquarters, London District.
2. The Women members of the party will accompany the male members on the
forward journey to BERLIN, but as there is no provision for women on the return
route through the HOOK of HOLLAND, BAOR will arrange for the women to return from
BERLIN through CALAIS and DOVER.
3. Other Rank male personnel should carry messing gear.
4. Personnel desiring to take cameras should be in possession of a
Certificate signed by Headquarters of the Contingent stating that the camera
is the property of the holder and is being taken to GERMANY for use during the
visit. The Certificate should specify make of camera, size of lens and
full
particulars.
5. It is suggested that members of the party who proceed on leave prior
to this tour should report back to Camp by the night of 18 Jun 46 as they will
probably leave London early on 19 Jun 46.
6. Personal baggage should be kept to the absolute minimum.

1. The following extract from War Office Searail 10 Q(M)10/13/3 dated 13th June
is hereby notified for information and necessary action.
"Subject is visit to BAOR or Australian VICMAR Contingent 20 to 25 June.
Party atr Males Offrs 4, WOs 6. Sgts 24, ORs 16, Female Offrs 2, Sgts 3, total
all ranks 55, report RTO London Victoria by 1130hrs 19th Kune under arrgts Movustedo
foe embarkation Dover/Calais same day. Port Comit. Calais requested arrange disposal
to arrive Munster by 2330 hrs 20 June. Return to UK under arrgs Movements Exfor.

2. Transport
Transport for the conveyance of the abovementioned personnel and baggage to
Victoria Station will be under arrangements Officer i/c Transport, Kensington Gardens.
3. It should be noted that A.Fs. W.5169 will be required for the above party in
sextuplicate. Warrants all be required in respect of the journey from Victoria
Station to Dover Marine. The departure from Victoria will be at 1204 hrs and arrival
at Dover Marine at 1430 hrs.
4. In accordance with War Office Q(M) 10 PMT sheet D.600 the above party
will be for direct embarkation on arrival at Dover Marine.
