APPLICATION FOR DISCHARGE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM
Sir,
I hereby make application for discharge in the United
Kingdom. My reasons are as follows :-
(1) My wife is at present residing in the UK. Her address
is-
87 Moreton Street,
Chadsmoor,
Cannock
STAFFS.
(2) She is not in a fit condition to travel as she has
been ill for some time following the loss of our baby
son a few weeks ago.
(3) My business interests necessitate my staying in
London for some time.
(4) My post-war plans include permanent residence in this
country or Europe.

Orders of Knighthood in connection with the investiture of the abovenamed
at Buckingham Palace on 9 Jul 46.
2. Please ensure that the acknowledgments, also requests for Visitors'
tickets are completed by the recipients and returned to the Central Chancery
as early as possible.

With regard to personnel decorated with the DSO
or above for war service, who have not yet been invested, it
would be appreciated if you would furnish this Staff with full
particulars of names etc.
2. This Staff will then endeavour to arrange an
investiture before leaving ^ the Contingent leaves ENGLAND.

VISIT TO BERLIN
Reference is made to this Headquartes memo 6856 of 13 Jun 46
concerning movement of the party proceeding to BERLIN.
2. The following timings to DOVER are now advised :-
Report RTO VICTORIA STATION, LONDON 1130hrs 19 Jun 46
Depart VICTORIA 1204hrs 19 Jun 46
On arrival at DOVER report to ESO for embarkation on cross-channel
steamer.
3. Would you please arrange transport to get the party to VICTORIA at
1130hrs 19 Jun 46.
4. The maximum amount of currency that can be taken out of ENGLAND is
£10 sterling. Currency will be exchanged at port of embarkation or disembarkation.
If personnel require urgent advances of pay whilst in BERLIN this may be
arranged through British Paymaster, BERLIN.
5. On arrival at BERLIN the party will be met by Australian Military
Mission. BAOR will take over the party on arrival at MINISTER.
