The institute in 'D' Lines will bo used by all Dominion personnel
and the Camp Staff, on no account will N.A.A.F.I's in other linos be used by
personnel from 'D' Lines.
17. CAR PARK
Civilian cars will not be allowed in the lines. There is a civilian
car park situated on the South side of Queens Gate and Alexandra Gate near the
Prince Albert Memorial and in this, cars may be parked at the owners risk.

CAMP STANDING ORDERS.
AMENDMENT.
Add:- BOOT REPAIRS. A contract for the repair of boots has been made
with Mesers. Marshalls, 35 Cornwall Crescent, Ladbrook Grove, w.11.
All boots for repair will be securely tied together, properly labelled,
and handed into the Q.M. Stores by 1200 hours Mondays and 1200 hours
Wednesdays. Labels for this purpose may be obtained from the Q.M.
Office. It is hoped that repaired boots will be available for re-issue
within 96 hours.

VICTORY PARADE 8th JUNE 1946
PROVISION OF STAFF CARS
Allies, Dominions and Colonies
1. A seperate instruction (114/Gen/8017 ... G.4 (V.M.) of 14 May 46) has beon
issued concerning the provision of staff cars for Senior Allied Officers taking
part. Those allied officers riding in the M.T. Column will only need their cars
to transport themselves to Regents Park. A vehicle will be provided for their
use in the procession. Labels are enclosed for facilitating the arrival at Regents
Park and should be affixal to the near side front windscreen.
British Officers
2. Any British General Officer requiring a staff car for use in Londen should
apply by telephone to:- to:-

Labels are enclosed for affixing to staff cars as in para 2 above.
3. Arrangements are being made by the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force for
the supply of staff cars for their own senior officers taking part.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR JOINING
THE PARADE
5. Allied Officers
(a) These riding in the Mechanised Column should be requested to arrive
at YORK GATE, REGENTS PARK by not later than 0845 hourse.
Officers will be met by a marshal and conducted to a marquee near
CLARANCE GATE, and finally escorted by 0910 hours to the cars
which have been detailed to carry them in the procession. Cars
in which these officers arrive will remain parked between YORK
GATE and CLARENCE GATE ready for their departure on return
to this area at the end of the march.

(b) Those preceding on foot with the Marching Column should be
requested to park their cars in GROSVENOR SQUARE and to arrive
on foot at GROSVENOR GATE, HYDE PARK by not later than O930
hours where they will be met by an officer and conducted to a
marquee which is being erected on the EAST side of the assembly
area. The Senior Marshal of the Allied Group will be responsible
for arranging to collect officers from the marquee and conducting
them to their places in the column.
6. British and Dominion Officers
(a) The same instructions as in para 5(a) above should be given to those
officers riding in the Mechanised Column.
(b) Officers marching with the Marching Column should be requested to
park their cars in GROSVENOR SQUARE, enter HYDE PARK by GROSVE OR
GATE not later than 0930 hours and make their own way to their
positions in the procession. The attention of these officers
should be drawn to the Order for the march, Appendix F.
