- THE WAR MEDAL 1939 - 45
Approval has been given for the institution of a War Medal. This is to be granted to full - time personnel of the Armed Forces. Service between 3rd September 1939 and the 2nd September 1945 inclusive, will qualify wherever rendered. A 28 day qualification will be adopted. Operational and non - operational service will qualify.
The Medal Ribbon will be worn after all Campaign Stars, but before the Defence Medal.
Personnel entitled to this Medal may wear it without the approval of their Record Officers for the time being. Application forms will be issued at a later date.

COMMANDANTS MEMORANDA.......When sounded.
ADJUTANTS ORDERS................................1030 hours.
- DISPERSAL - HANDING IN OF KIT.
Contingents and rear parties will, before leaving this
Camp, hand in all stores and bedding to the Quartermaster's Stores "D" Lines, and report to the Camp Commandant when their Lines are ready for inspection.
Blankets will be rolled into bundles of 10. Palliasses
and Bolsters will be emptied of all straw and turned inside out, they will then be folded into four and done up in bundles of 20.
Contingents and Rear Party Commanders must obtain a Clearance Certificate before leaving Camp.
2. MEDAL RIBBONS.
No Decorations or Campaign Ribbons other than those authorised by a Military Unit, will on any account be worn, by any personnel in Camp.

2. TELEPHONE SYSTEM.
"D" Lines internal telephone system will close at 1100 hours on Saturday 15th June 1946.
All Contingents and Rear Parties wishing to telephone after that will use the instruments in the Orderly Room, or Camp Commandant's office.
3. THE WAR MEDAL 1939-45.
An amendment to the White Paper on the issue of the War Medal has been received, which states that the Medal Ribbon will now be worn after the Defence Medal.

ADJUTANTS ORDERS.................................1030 hours.
- MEDICAL ARRANGEMENTS.
All sick will report to the MI Rooms in "A" or "G" Lines w.c.f. Friday 14th June 46. Camp Hospital MI Room will then be closed.
2. LATRINES.
Both Latrines in the South African Lines will be closed on Sunday 16th June 46. All personnel will use the Latrine in Camp Staff Lines.
3. DISPERSAL - HANDING IN OF KIT.
Contingents and Rear Parties will before leaving this Camp hand in all stores and bedding to the A.M. Stores "D" Lines, and report to the Camp Commandant when their Lines are ready for inspection.
Blankets will be rolled in bundles of 10. Palliassos and Bolstors will be emptied of all straw and turned inside out; they will then be folded into four and done up in bundles of 20.
Contingents and Rear Party Commanders must

4. The Southern Rhodesian Coloured Troops will parade outside the Rhodesian Office at 1000 hours to proceed to "G" Lines. They will hand in to the Camp QM Stores Blankets, Palliassos and Bolstors before leaving, 1 Three Ton Lorry will report to the Rhodesian Office at 1000 hours to transport those troops to 'G' Lines. They will report to the EAST AFRICAN Office in 'G' Lines at 1030 hours to-morrow Saturday 15th June 1946.

- TRAFFIC RECEIPTS.
Except for the actual gates, which will remain one way, traffic circuits in Kensington Gardens will be abolished w.c.f. Saturday 15th June 1946.
2. CHURCH SERVICES.
The following Church Services will take place this Sunday 16th June 46.
Kensington Gardens Church Tent 'L' Lines:
0930 hours - Morning Service
OC Major Commandant has asked for this Service, with the Rev. Yates, who is [[?]] the Service, and has been a Missionary in Fiji. All will be welcome.
Roman Catholics:
Westminster Cathedral,
A special Military Service will be held at Westminster Cathedral at 1030 hrs.
Personnel wishing to attend will report to East African Lines (G Lines) = 0945 hrs.
Brompton Oratory:
Mass can be heard at the following times:-
0630 hrs 0800 hrs. 1000 hrs.
0700 hrs 0830 hrs 1015 hrs.
0730 hrs 0900 hrs 1200 hrs.

Gardens, Alexandra Gate, across Knightsbridge, down Exhibition Rd, turn left along Cromwell Road;_ Walking time. 13 minutes.)
