Uncle John helped run the cattle property at Stockyard Creek all his life.

A quiet, honest and hard-working man who never married.

Mistress of Modern Languages

Jean was a former Principle of Dover Heights Girls' High School - Sydney.

Jean was a good cook - We loved her cakes and gramma pies.

JAMES ARTHUR HENRY POCOCK BORN PUNCHBOWL 18-3-1919

Son of Fred and Christina (nee Bennetts) Pocock

Married Elizabeth Haynes in Grafton on 30th October 1954

They have two children: Elizabeth - born 17-9-55

                                         Roger - born 19-2-58

Jimmy helped his sister Margaret Pocock run the cattle property at Stockyard

Creek for many years.

MARGARET (MARGY) HEATHER POCOCK

BORN - STOCKYARD CREEK (THE PUNCHBOWL) - 4TH MAY 1921

Margy manages the property on her own and lives quite happily alone with the

company of her beloved pussy cats - chooks - dogs - cattle, and a carpet snake!

She is much respected in the district and has many friends when help is required

on the property.

Her brother Jim helped run the property until the late '60's.
