I eent for a stroll with another chap out to Hleet Mann afterdinner &. went to the service at the little church at Heel at 2. 30 pm. We marched into Weymouth this morning. Ralph Clark
& myself went up the line to Dorchester by 4.10 pm train

we spent the evening at the theatre opposite the LSWR stn
where an extremely amatured company were giving a S African
drama.

SUNDAY 9

It has been a beautiful day a real spring day. i went for
a stroll with another chap out to Fleet Manor after dinner &
went to a service at the little church at Fleet at 3 30 pm
MONDAY 10
We have all been buisy moving into new huts, as the coys
have been reorganized we all have to keep to our own coy huts.
I shifted into No 67. The AMC are in No 6 Coy.
TUESDAY 11
We went into Weymouth for a march this morning
R Clark and I went to the revue Spots at the Pavilion tonight
we got a late pass till 11 pm. A party of the Dorset Regt
marched through the town on their way to the front tonight.
WEDNESDAY  12
I attended sick parade this morning about a heavy cold
that is troubling me. Received letter from Parkstone

We marched into Weymouth this morning
FRIDAY 14
We marched into Weymouth this morning R Clark & I spent 
the evening at the 2nd performance at the Jubilee Hall tonight
SATURDAY 15
I was granted weekend leave & caught the 2 10 pm train
to Bourmouth arriving at Parkestone stn at about 4 pm

The weather has broken & has come very wet after a fairly
long spell of fine weather.
MONDAY 17
I went to Boscombe Hippodrome with Kath tonight
Ellane Terres & Stanly Bret are performing there
TUESDAY 18
I went down to the Branksome Stn with Kath to see Mrs Hunt
off for London at about 2 pm we went to Bournmouth central stn & back
by tram I left for camp at 4 & caught the 4 35 pm train
at Poole reached Weymouth & went to the Bincleaves barracks
to see Cecil who is in hospital with influenza

We went out for about ½ a miles march this morning I
went for a walk out Fleet way this afternoon with a 
chap in the 6th Fld Amb. Received letters from Eva & Ada

I went for a walk out to Chickeral this
afternoon.
WEDNESDAY 26 Foundation Day
We went for a march through Chickerell this morning
All the men in camp marched into the Jubilee hall to
a variety show this afternoon & got back to camp about 6 pm
One of the performers had a nasty fall during his turn.

R Clark & I went to the performance of Pinch Me at the 
Pavilion tonight

MONDAY 31
We have mess tables in our huts now & have
our meals in our sleeping huts instead of having
special mess huts. I went to Jubilee Hall
with R Clarke tonight.
TUESDAY 1 FEB.
A draft of 500 men left here this morning at 6 am
for Egypt.
WEDNESDAY 2
We have to fall in with No 6 Coy in future
instead of our own.
FEBRUARY 1916
THURSDAY 3
I was told off for duty with a party to peel potatoes
this morning
FRIDAY 4
a party of 10 were picked & given full equipment this
morning I was one of the party dinner was at 11 30 am & we
all fell in at 12 30 pm with full equipment & marched
past the Gen of the southern command it rained very
heavy as we fell in & got extremely wet we were given
this afternoon off. Tea & biscuits will be issued at 9.20 pm
SATURDAY 5
It has been a beautiful sunny day we fell in as usual
with No 6 Coy & went for a march as far a Chickeral
