Got Jacks squirt fixed up.
played bridge till 10.30.am.
Very hot day.

Usual routine; preparing    
to move; left camp
at 6.45 & proceeded on to
Jerusalem, a long treck
and arrived at Jerusalem
about 2.30.

Got to Jerusalem about 2.30 &
rode through onto Bethlehem
then onto Khudri passing
along the road via Solomon
Pools to a camp 3 miles
South towards in the
Hebron road. camped
on hill: weather much
cooler: usual routine
very tired after our all night
ride.
Went over to 1st Regt at night.

of party to get remounts
at Desert corps: left here
4.30 & proceeded almost
to Jerusalem; got 7 (packs)
and came back. arriving
about 9 P.m. very
nice ride (16 miles) had
tea at a canteen along
the road.

for Cholera in
afternoon
Inoculation had s
pretty solid effect on
me as I was not feeling
too fit.

Leave for Jerusalem: got up
at 4.15 AM. & proceeded into
Jerusalem arriving about
8.30: did some shopping
got very crook: had to spell
all day in the stables where
our horses were left.
Had lunch in a "joint"
quite a good one: then
had a drink of tea at
4.30: (the best I remember
since leaving home) then
left about 5; arriving
home about 9.30 fairly
tired & crook..
Rode about 23 Miles.)
