On pumping party in
morning. had an
"eggary" stunt about
10 oclock; Turks shelled
Railhead at Shelal.
Got 15 Turkish Cavalry
prisoners
arrived home 4.30

Saddled up 2.45 & went
on stunt to El Bugga
got bombed but no
damage done to us.
NZrs lost a few men &
horses
Got home early.

Quiet day: filled water
bottles on pack horse
in afternoon

at 10.30, ambushed turk
near El Bugga: got 1 officer
an 1 Sgt. . .
Met Divsn at El Bugga

Took gun into position
and saw good many
Cavilary. arrived back
to El Bugga & camped until
4.30 P.M. pretty tired at
night; arriving home
about 2.30
Did picquet the rest of the
night

75 man killed & several horses
got home very late

fagged after stunt

watered up at Hessana
& proceeded about 15 miles

Got home after watering

miles).
