MAY, 1916. Monday. 29 Got word to get ready for a by stunt MAY, 1916. Tuesday. 30 Left Romani at 11.30 and acked as Cauiel guard to Romani. going all night, arrived at Oaratina at 9.30 next morning and camped there the day and left there at 9.30, & pro¬ ceeded to Rod-dibabis.
MAY, 1916. Wednesday 31 e Arrived Rod Debabis just at daylight, waited there blel the N.Z. M Kifles, turned up from Ber-el Ald; where there had an encounter with are outfrost; we then we went on to Ogratina and waited there hell the Mounted Rifles again caught us uep. then we proceeded on back to Romani where we arrived at 11.30. JUNE, 1916. Ascension Thursday I Day. Stood to arms at usual teres, just getting breakfast when Tulbt came over the camp, got our horses and cleared out, dropped bourts; doing a good deal of damage to Brotf H. Killing 10 ccocendingsmew; and Killing 36harces day very warm.

had an encounter with
an outpost; we then we
went on to Ogratina and
waited there till the Mounted
Rifles again caught us up.
then we proceeded on back
to Romani where we arrived
at 11.30.

camp, got our horses and

bombs; doing a good deal
of damage to 3rd L.H killing
10 & wounding 15; men and
killing 36 horses. day very
