MARCH, 1916. Thursday 2 Guth went up to School of Instrudio at Zeltoun. MARCH, 1916. Friday 3 Well guard at Shellp womb all day, Ollie went to hospital with poisaed finger to Menca H undallie got strangles & had to be Regit separate.
MARCH, 1916. Saturday 4 e French digging in morning to spello in appernon MARCH. 1916. Quinqua- sesima. Sunday 5 Satrol at night,6-12 nothing doing all day Looked for Curwos and kuend agood few cours, helth etc.
MARCH. 1916. Monday 6 I reparing to move on fatgue at raihwway across cand at Sandafor MARCH, 1916. Tuesday 7 sent away tents & all final things which were left till last.
MARCH, 1916. Ash Wednesday. Wednesday 8 Left Bahnasa at 730 and proceeded south, travelled all day, and caned the night on canal. Led oed t undallis who had the strangles, also tok primis store and made some burgoo. MARCH, 1916. Thursday9 Left camp early proceding further south and got to camp at KasenRasha. pretty early in afternoon a beauteful comp in a date palm growe the 220 LH. had only just left it when we got there.

with poisoned finger
to Menia
Mundallie got strangles
& had to be kept separate.

Looked for Curio's
and found a good
few coins, teeth etc.

railway across canal
at  Fandafa

Sent away tents
& all final things
which were left till
last.

Wednesday 8
Left Bahnasa at 7 30 and
proceeded south, travelled
all day; and camped
the night on Canal:
Led old Mundallie who
had the strangles, also
took primus stove and
made some "burgoo".

Thursday 9
Left camp early; proceeding
further south and got
to camp at Hasen Rasha.
pretty early in afternoon
a beautiful camp
in a date palm grove
the 2nd L.H. had only
just left it when we
got there.
