NOVEMBER, 1916. All sains. Wednesday 1 Nothing doing: very quet day: just got things fixed up. Hlarrie came back from Cairo: bringing back a letter from Wm not + Mrs Rickman. NOVEMBER, 1916. our saddlery; & bits etc.

NOVEMBER, 1916.
Wednesday 1
Nothing doing; very quiet
day. Just got things fixed
up. Clarrie came back
from Cairo; bringing back
a letter from Mme Piot &
Mrs Rickman.
NOVEMBER, 1916.
Thursday 2
Left Kantara at 9.30 &
went straight out to
to Duiedar, and stopped
just East of Hill 70 for
dinner.

Left Duiedar early and
proceeded to Romani:
Had dinner at a Hod
where we had a great
feed of dates; arrived
at Romani, about 5.30:
Had a shower of rain the
first since January.
NOVEMBER, 1916.
Saturday 4
Left Romani at 10 A.M.
and proceeded towards
Oghratina: arriving
at our destination
about 3 P.M. had dinner
and stayed the night

Left Oghratina about
6 AM. & proceeded to
Bir-el-Abd arriving
at dinner time; watered
up: & came about 7 mile
this side of Bir-el-Abd
arriving at our destination 
at Bir-el-Geeila: about
5: a very nice place.
under the date palms
On picquet at night
Monday 6
Got our camp fixed
up and had a
visit from a Taube
it flew right over
us to Bir-el-Abd
& dropped 5 bombs
killing a few Tommies
& camels.
Made 6 emplacements
for Anti aircraft
guns

Plane came over but too
far away when anti
aircraft guns wounded
it causing it to drop the
bombs harmlessly in the 
desert
