Les left for Sidi Bishr
for a weeks holiday
luck right in.
We finished up
the cake this morning
my word it was good
I am not sures if it
was the old Xmas
mixture or not
but it was good.

to night.

Our team went
over to No. 9 works
& shot a match
over 200 & 300. We
beat them easily.

Football match on this
morning. We eaisly
beat No 9.
The 12^th L.H arrived
here to play cricket.
Cotter was bowling for
the 12^th but we beat
them by 1 innings
easily our team
retired in the first
innings & then we
beat them by 1 inn
& a good many runs

to go to Abbasia.
got to sleep in
the open to night
very heavy dews

All moved out this
morning except the
4^th L.H. who shifted to
No. 4 & 5 post. The rest 
of the squadron went
down to the canal
then on to Abbasia
to get Camels
and pitched camp
there
It is a very heavy
march coming through
this sand. with all
our blankets & gear.
