Back from dental

24 SUNDAY

Camped at El-Fercho

station last night
Helped to load a

waggon then got a

ride out to camp 
arrived in camp

at about 1000 and
was glad to get 
back.
Was told there

was a mail in

but got dissapointed

again.

SEPTEMBER 1916

25 MONDAY

On repairing 

trenches this morning

& afternoon.
Got a letter to night
and wasn't I pleased
It gives a man a 

bit of a heart when he

gets some letter from

home & knows they

are all well.

Haven't done
any work since

I came out of

hospital.

Oh. what a welcome
surprise, got 5 more

letters to day.

pains all over

as still off duty

it is beautiful

Geting my meals

at the cooks place

Went up to the Dr.
to day & was put

on light duty
this was the SM,s
doings as he didn't
know weather I was

light duty or not
I am to be put on

at the Sergeants
mess.
