My dear General.

Many thanks for your report on

the attempt of the enemy to raid gun

33h. Bn on the 25th. The result has given

you the required identification and I

am glad to hear that owing to Lt. Col

Morshead's change of disposition and

the actions of our men the enemy

casualties cost us very little.

Yours sincerely
