In view of orders ^received for the withdrawal, in the very near future, of upwards of 6000 men of 1914, for furlough to Australia, it may become necessary ^forthwith to reduce disband additional Battalions of Infantry.-
Will you please let me have, as soon as possible,
your recommendation for as to those the Battalions to be selected for disbandment in all Brigades of your Division which have not yet been placed on a three-Battalion basis.-
