Memorandum 
The following arrangements are being made to
enable units to get off what they require from transpo
1. The SEANGBEE has been selected as central communi
transport. A signal station will be established in [[??]]
and a trawler has been allotted to serve her.
2. Messages to transports giving details of what is
required should be sent through the Naval Base Visual
Station to SEANGBEE Before 4 pm daily or by the
picket boat numbered in para 3. These messages will

at the same time forwarded any personnel [[?]]
[[?]] overnight and [[?]] to the

be collected without any personal risk the picket boat
which has been placed at the disposal of the
Army Corps by Rear Admiral will attend at the No. 2
pier (H.S.C.) at 8. am daily & take off to the 
SEANGBEE messengers who wish to reach any
transports. There they will be embarked on the trawler
and taken round to the transport they wish to reach
where they will be taken off in the trawlers afternoon
trip & brought to the beach.
Please cause this procedure to be widely activated.

1 The Brigadier has noticed & that Shoulder patches have
been removed from sleeves, in many cases.  All
ranks should be immediately warned against any
further such irregular action and any cases should
be firmly dealt with by Commanding Officers. Where
Patches have been removed the Brigadier directs that
the Battalion number must be conspicuously marked
in indelible lead pencil. on sleeves near shoulder.
2 An inspection of the Bivouac Area by Brigadier
this morning discloses that the Roads, ^Tracks and area
generally are not by any means as clean as they
might be. Several men on being questioned stated
they were unaware of orders prohibiting them to
from Cooking or loitering on roadside or
occupying isolated Bivouacs. COs will be good
enough to immediately set these matters right.
3 It is reported that a number of Brigade personnel
is loitering on Beach. An Officer 1 Segt and 1 Corpal
per Bn to request to Brg Major for instructions at
10.30 am today.
