Unable trace any Otago men ^ now left in this
section of defences  I think all have already
left for the beach.

The Brigadier approves of Battns in rest camp or in
reserve IE. Troops not actually on outpost 
positions, taking advantage of the facilities for
bathing.  Parties are to consist of 1 Officer & 25 other
ranks & will leave the Bivouac, 2 parties at a time
commencing at 6 am daily.  The Total time occupied
in marching to & returning from the beach & in bathing
must not exceed 2 hrs, the last party for the day
from the Bivouac will leave at 4pm.
O.C. Bns desirous of marching on Bathing
Parties will confer with the Brigade Major on the
Previous evening so as to enable a time table
being arranged.
