know, that I am still alive and

Muffler today and thanks very
much it was very good of you
to remember me at X mas But
nobody wears Mufflers out here
so I have put it and away
until I get home and then
I will he able to wear it then.
I might be taking a run home
some day if I can happen to
strike a ship handy and see
Mother and you by the way Mother
tells me that she is keeping very
poorly she so Annie I hope that
you are kind to her for there
is only you and her so be good
to her while you are at home
for if you ever happen to be
knocking about on your own
