EXPANDING BULLETS!
Great Britain, Germany,
and Turkey are signatories
to the International agreement
repressing the use of expanding
bullets. The use of flat-nosed
or expanding bullets by
chipping or filing the nose
of the bullet is hereby forbidden,
and any N.C.O or man found
in possession of such expanding
bullets or firing them from
a rifle, will be brought to
trial by Court Martial

will insure that every
member of their command
is acquainted with this order.
Injuries by our own Bombs
In view of the number of
recent cases of death and injury
caused by our own Bombs,
each case will be reported on,
the same as in the case of
a suspected self inflicted
wound.

had a touch of your
complaint but is well again.
I hope he doesn't have a
relapse as it would make
things very awkward for
me. Burleigh will have 13,
Wilcox 14, Cameron 15 &
Sgt. Hamilton 16. L/Sgt Edey.
is under arrest for having
drink in billets out of hours.
I made him a L/Sgt on Chi
trail & he's proved that our
(yours & mine) opinion of him
was correct. Sgt Campbell
- who has just been promoted
went to hospital yesterday so
I am not too "bon" for NCO's.
I don't fancy
we'll strike anything too
tough on the contrary it
will be rather interesting.
Hope you don't see my name
in the casualty list. I'd
much sooner you find
it amongst the honours
and awards. Old Wallie
was with me & read your
letter. He wishes to be
kindly remembered as do

Dear George,
Your letter of
the 8th inst to hand this
afternoon. I am sorry to hear
you've had such a rotten
time and hope you'll soon
be well again. As for
leaving me in the lurch
old man - forget it - you
were not for the stunt so
I can't see where you've
left me at all. I am only
sorry that you missed
most of the school as a
good report on you from
there would have helped
us considerably. Wilcox,
Burleigh & Cameron will
be with me - none of the
others. Corlett is very much
upset but battalion kept
him out.
