but prices are prohibitive and we have nothing
to spare. We hope to get something on board and
for the rest my wife's family must provide for us.
Maybe I'll be going about pretty soon in an old
kilt. What plans have you for the future.
What about the canning business and the
rabbit. smoking. I found an old Scotch recipe
for it and if you are interested in it I'll just
send it to you. Once more old man thanks
so much also on behalf of my wife, for all
your good care for me when I was down. I hope
you'll believe me that I do not forget an
old pal. I shall not waste much words
on it, but I trust you to understand me.
If in my turn I can do anything for you
please let me know. Maybe I'll come
to Australia some time and then I hope
to see you. If you find time, please let
me hear from you. With a firm hand-shake
believe me you old dutch friend.
