are well & that the others are well also.
I was very pleased with your report
& I know you will try your hardest
to stay in your new class.
It will be nice for you to stop at
Aunty Daisys for a holiday. I am pleased
it is a nice place. You will be kept
real busy feeding & watering the
ducks & fowls.
You & Pat will have a good time if
Pat is able to get down.
Mum was very good going to Perth &
getting all those new things. & Ill I will
bet you all had a good feed of the
lollys.
You had an exciting adventure
with Tiny. It was lucky you werent
hurt & I hope Bardys leg was too
badly scratched.
Have you been helping Mum also
Aunty Nelly & Grandy?
It is very hot tonight. There
isn't a breath of wind. We are
getting Pictures here so it will be a
welcome addition to our entertainments.
This is all for this time so will
close with lots of Love & Kisses to you
all
from your Loving Dad

My Dear Daughter Shirley.
I was ever so pleased to
receive such a ^long & loving letter from you & to learn
that you have now got over your throat. I am
pleased that you didnt get the Flu
because it is a very nasty thing to
have.
Mummy told me what a good girl
you have been & I am very very pleased
with you, for because when I know you
are being good & helping Mum it makes me
Happy & I know it also makes your Mum
Happy.
Tishy is a little mischief isnt she.
She does get into trouble
My Darling I went down the street
this afternoon to see if I could get you a
ring but I was unable to get one, so
you will have to wait a little longer
for it. I sent a small parcel to Mum
today. There is a Book-marker for you &
Bardy, some crayons & filling in Pictures for
Jeannette & some Photos for Brian & Mummy.
It has been very blowy today &
there has been a lot of dust.
Well my Dear I think I have told
you all so will close with a big Kiss
for you also kisses for the other. Give
Mummy a big kiss for me.
Love from
Your Loving Daddy I
Jim
