Dear Mrs Simper,
I saw by the Advertiser the
other day that you and Colin became the proud
parents of a daughter, so I am penning a
few lines of congratulation to you both.
Colin was my platoon
sergeant when I was with the 43rd in Warradale
and the Northern Territory. When you write
to him would you please convey my
congratulations to him and wish him (for
me) the best of luck and a safe return,
to you and his daughter.
Yours sincerely,
JE Shaughnessy.
