Dear Rene,

Well its my turn to

write now and you'll probably

think I'm batty too but I'm not

I'm just as crazy as any one person

can be that's all. I've just read your

letter again dear and I tell you this

much, If only I could get the necessary

money I'd bowl right up to Woolworths

and spirit you off to get married now.

Having time in plenty on my hands I

can fool about a bit so dont imagine

I'm gone completely out of my head

It's just that these are the only

words I can think of. Gee but I'm

probably the happiest man in camp, How

will it be when we're firstly engaged, and

then married. Picture me darling as I write

around and around in a circle I love you,

I love you, I tell you personally to night

You'll hear nothing also still you wont get

this till tomorrow,  Well dear I'll leave 

the remainder until I see you

and I'll be in early Friday night

Hello Darling,

Now the next two ma maybe

three pages I intend to be just for you.

Darling Rene I love you yes dear really truly

your the only woman in the world ever for me

and you can depend on me to fill the duties

of a husband, not only as a husband but

as a loving companion through life, to the

best of my will and ability. Yes dear you can

depend on that. And when I get home will move

any little wish or word spoken, will be as an

order to me and I can assure you that twill

give me the greatest pleasure to obey that order

to the fullest of my capacities.

You see darling your the most wonderful most

adorable girl in all the world and most of all

you are my wife. Aw gee! honey what a thrill

it gives me, when I say my wife.

I was telling Jeff [[Tallger?]] today, he said "everybody

seems to be getting married, there must be something

in this married life. How true had he spoken".

And I said "listen Jeff," if you have the good

fortune of finding the girl you love, not as a

female or something that you can 

have your good times with, and then to

be tossed aside, but as the woman, with

which you are to spend the rest of your

life with, loving her, serving her, and giving

her all the companionship of a lover for his

wife, then Jeff , I said, you have found the

woman, who to live with, is just one never ending

tide of joy and contentment.

He was very sincere, as he said, "Thanks Colin" I

beleive that" and if everyone was to think as

you do the world would be a much better

place to live in.

And so it would darling, wouldn't it, and

with a love such as we have, we can show

everybody how two people should live as one.

And so I pray then, that men may come to

their senses and realize that after all, where 

there is true love, there is not real quarrel.

So for tonight darling I'll leave you with

but one thought in my mind.

I love you darling always, I'll love you
