18/9/18 Capt Kelly arrived for
the Base and Reinforcement
officer vice Capt Andrews
Lieut Thompson. W 6 Dental
Unit despatched to join
temp. Aust Flying Squadron.
At last moment were informed
that we had to return by
our own transport EP tents
As T.S of C.
Inquiries had been made
concerning the matter a few
days previously & the answer
from Brigade was to leave
standing.
These tents had been used
to hold Brigade Influenza
patients & the return at
the last moment is most
inconvenient.
All motors left mobile Sections at
1400. Had to evacuate
wagon load of sick by horsed vehicle

at 1700.
Mobile Section moved out at
1930. Moved under Divnl
control to region round
Jaffa. Bivouac was
reached at 2400
