UCHANA EDSEAI V he Greatest Favorite, The Most Popular REGULATIONS. THE RACES will be started from moored buoys at the Weir by gun fire. COXSWAINS.—Coxwains to be 6 st. (minimum) for fours, and 8 st. (minimum) for eights. Dead Weight can be carried at coxwain’s thwart if necessary. COURSES.—FOUR OARED SLIDE RACES, Weir to St. Peter’s College Boat House, about 78 mile. EIGHTS and TUB FOURS, Weir to a point opposite Long’s Point. EACH BOAT to keep its own water throughout the course, which is buoyed. PROTESTS if any, must be made at Headquarters before getting out of the Boat. TIME.—Crews must be at the post sharp on time—no delay will be allowed. Every race must start at the advertised time. The Starter has been instructed to rigidly enforce this regulation. COMPETING ROWING CLUB’S COLORS Adelaide—Red, Yellow and Black. Adelaide High School—White, Black Star on Back and Front. The Procession of Boats arranged by the S.A.R.A. will start from Morphett
Street Bridge , headed by a motor boat, conveying the Chairman of the Rowing
Association (Mr. W. G. Auld) and the Secretary (Mr J. J. Sharp). They will
continue as far as the University boat house, after which a return will be made to
the Mercantile Shed, where the boats will be massed to witness the unfurling of
the Premiership pennant, won by this club last season. Mr. W. G. Auld. the
donor, will release the emblem

To enable this programme to be carried out punctually, strokes are requested
to have their crews waiting on the bank when the crews come in from the race
previous to theirs.
In the case of a dead heat the crews will re-row without getting out of the
boat.
At the conclusion of the racing, the President, Hon. W. J. Denny, will
present the prizes to the winning crew.
