Sat 31st Went through the heads 2 years
today, time does fly, still alive & kicking.
Went over to Palladium tonight show
good.

Just another day. Went to Church.
Mon 2nd
Still plodding along
Tues 3rd Just another day.
Wed 4th Not feeling the best stomach trouble
Thurs 5th Saw M.O. going to A.G H.
Friday 6th Feel very ill
Sat 7th Not the best
Sun 8th Seems to get worse
Mon 9th Just another day
Tues 10th Stomach still playing up.
Wed 11th Received letter from you makes
it 2 now quite a surprise packet, even
if it did take over 12 onths to get it
Thur 12th Still very sick, on light diet
Frid 13th Pains on and off all day.
Sat 14th Just the same.
Sun 15th 2 yrs today since we arrived
in Malaya, 2 [[?]] to be
exrayed
Mon 16th [[?]] bad day exrayed
[[?]] result a very large ulcer
Tues 17th Pains very severe.
Wed 18th Pains still bad
Thurs 19th Just the same
Frid 20th Still bad pains
Sat 21st
No improvement
Sun 22nd Hospital moving to Selerang
Barracks so now all those left here are in
the same area. Very sick woman.
Mon 23rd Very sick woman
Tues 24th Very much out of sorts
Wed 25th Just another day.
Thur 26th Looks like operation in
a few days [[?]] still bad.
Frid 27th Had a bad night, but much
easier today.
Sat 28th Moved to Surgical Ward.
Sun 29th Being operated on tomorrow.
Mon 30th Todays the day.
Tues 31th } Had blood transfusion
Wed 1st Sept. } Very sick for
Thurs 2nd } quite a few days
Frid 3rd } in fact didn't know
Sat 4th } what day it was
Sund 5th } in fact didnt worry much
Mon 6th Still a very sick woman
Tues 7th Very very sick but on improve
Wed 8th coming too slowly.
Thur 9th Wound turned infective
Frid 10th Wound discharging quite lot
