down & gave Gran a musical mornin, she did
enjoy it, & thought it so kind of the children to
think of her, she mentioned about you being with
us on her last birthday, I was trying to think
when Mick's birthday was, I knew it was very
near, but could not think of the date.
Will conclude now with love & best wishes
from Gran, Reg & from

My Dear Kath,
I was so pleased to get your letter
on Sat. and know that all is going well.
You must have felt a bit grim
yourself for a few days - poor girl,
anyhow it's lovely to know that
Richard is progressing (nice name, I
like it very much.) I had a letter
from Mick written on 25th & he didn't
know at that stage - isn't it a shame.
He said his mail was a bit disorganized
at time of writing, as he had moved.
He said he was very well. I am
dying to see "him" Everytime
I have a baby here which is
very often I look at them & wonder
if little Mikey looks like any of them.
We have been very busy at the
hospital I haven't seen Bon for
nearly 2 weeks, but think he will
be down on Wed. night - Then
(2
again Sat. for Frank & Edna's wedding
which is going to be at 9.30AM.
I don't know yet about my own, but will
probably be sometime this month.
I will know more at the end of the week
most likely - Thanks for your good wishes
etc - I am gathering up a few things
here & there, but you know what it
is like, they might get whipped off
somewhere, any minute, Hope it
wont be too far away. I had a letter
from Mum & she said Dad wasnt too
well. I hope he is alright. I am hoping
to hear tomorrow anyhow. How long
will they keep you there I wonder?
Sorry I wont be there to give you a
hand when you come out, but I
suppose by the time you get home
you will be feeling much better.
Well I must away now as I have
2 other letters to write!
(3)
& my hair to wash.
Hope you continue to feel
better.
lots of love to you both
Give my nephew a kiss from me.
Cheers
Yours affect-
Dulcey
Mary said to tell you she was very
pleased you were getting
on well. Everyone likes the
name don't they?

28th June
My Dear Kath
I was surprised when Mum rang on
Wednesday night, to tell me the news
I do hope by now that little Micky
is better. What an awful worry for
you, after all that. Knowing so
much about it and having the
experience with 'babies', I know
that if he gets over the first days
he will be O.K.
I had one here while Sr-Anne was
away that I worked on for 25 mins
& he went home as well as can
be. So I am anxiously waiting
for better news. How are you
yourself. No worse for the ravages
of labour I hope. A B. A - business
although isn't it. Poor old Mick too
being so far away - He would be
worried stiff about you. I had a
letter from John today and he
had heard from Mick.
A priest I know who knows NG. said
it was only about a 2 days hike
from one bay to the other. It would be
grand if they could get together.
I hope the hospitals up to expectations
& you are being well looked after
all well here. Pretty cold though this
week. I seem to be feeling the cold
more as I get old or as I stay here longer
but I believe it is freezing down there
bed is a good spot these days. I
am writing this in bed as a matter of
fact. Did you hear of the intended
marriage of your biggest sister-in-law?
well so far nothing definite as
Bon is spending 14 days C.B for
being A W.L one Evening for a
few hours - the lousy cow. He had
hoped for leave in June
