in such rapture. I do hope these recollections
do not distress you or unsettle you, pet but they
rise up so vividly and I must tell you how happy
you made me.
To come back to earth, that picture
'Reap the Wild Wind' you refer to is a color riot
of stirring days at sea off the US coast back
in 1840. Ray Milland & Paulette Goddard
are the big shots, its quite a hectic show ,
no messing about if you see what I mean. Its
awfully sweet of Fay to take such a close interest
in the wee one's trousseau and let you have
such a lot of pretty things. Nothing like blood
when a helping hand is needed. I'm glad
to know everything about the bairn and his
lovely mother so don't forget to tell me all
about the pair of you.
Well, piddlekins, my treasure,
I seem to have been very verbose today but
think I'm getting to the end now. So for a
little while, bundle mine, cheerio, and
all sorts of happiness and radiant health.
Need I say that all my love goes with this
to you, darling. Sweet Dreams.

Darling Kay.
Greetings, cherry pie on this sunny
day and I hope the climate down South plus
physical excellence on your esteemed part
combine to turn you out in a cheery frame of
mind. That I am sure is important for
you ducky matrons to be, don't you concur,
my dear? Anyhow to cut out the guff, bundle
you know how dearly I'm always hoping
the months from now to July treat you
kindly and your first natal venture is fraught
with many blessings and no distress to you.
Jolly glad my lass the letters from hubby
continue to blow in regularly and you still
like 'em so well. Well I return the compliment
as I am ever on the watch for the mail orderly
for one of your happy screeds and I am seldom
disappointed whether either in frequency, length
or tone. So we cant claim that either of us
dont get a kick out of our letters which is a good thing
Glad you felt up to joining the Suggies on an
assault on the local fleahouse and had a good
night. Quite a lot of those rejuvenated pictures
can bear a second scrutiny, particularly as so
many of the new shows are so frank.

So pleased too, you found my folks in good shape
I'd like to see you in your new ensemble as my
imagination is vivid enough to picture you looking
very sweet and delectable. Well, if the next home
leave pans out as well as we hope, maybe it
won't be so far off and when are is said and
done, time flies. But a word of warning, my
rosebud, I don't like the aftermath of your
jaunts as evidenced by the morning after feeling.
Please don't tire yourself, sweetheart as I confess
the first thing I look for I in your letters is
an assurance that you progress and without
feeling crook. Still, I guess, its as you say, an
occasional and temporary adjunct to the
whole process and except for the big scare, you've
had a fair trot, obviously due to your own
intelligence and care. Too bad about the
plums and cream, I'm afraid I haven't
clicked for that dilicacy since I left your
ancestral abode but the time will come when
I shall regale myself to the full on the ruddy
plum.
As usual, theres little in the way
of news, the weather is still roasting from
dawn to dusk, no rain or other fireworks

as variety but the sultry stuff is not so
noticeable which is a boon. I'm feeling
fine still, so the vagaries of climate don't
worry me much. I went to Rawlings yesterday
and stayed to tea which was a pleasant change
from camp chow. They are both well and
send you love and good luck. I am back
early and had a couple of snorts before
hitting the hay.
A little thing you can do for me
pet. When you next visit Mum, ask her to
turn up that box where my text books are,
whip out Company Law, Series 1 which
I overlooked when I had a rummage there.
Will you get it and mail it on to me - ta!
So my lovely lady, I now say bye-bye
for today and may you be blessed
all the day and night with peace and
happiness until we meet again. Then I shall
disturb your peace but will try to increase the
other virtue. Oceans of love to you,
precious.
Micky
