The Call to the "Shirkers"

There are in our Battalion gaps,

Which always want filling up

But how are we going to do it,

While the "shirkers" are hanging back.
You ask where the men are to come from.

You say there are lots without you

You say you will help your Country

After the War is through.
But all that ques^toin your helping,

Is to cheer as the Boys march past,

To fight for their King & Country,

An Dear Old England's rights.
So come along you "Shirkers",

Your Country's call obey.

Don't let it be said you were frighten

Enlist right away today.
