serviceable and left
for home. at camp

Today was spent roaming round
the camp at 15 min to 9 PM we
fell in & walked to Le Havre
and boarded the boat. it
did/not move out tonight
we all went to bed
and had a good snooze

at mid day one thirty Today we set off
in the paddler up the Seine
The scenery is very beautiful
being mostly rangy, consisting
of Light soft stone, covered
by loam and in which was
lovely greenery growing.
Arrived at Rouen left wharf
and went by Lorrie to our

camp, being among the 30 advance
guard we remained in lorries
and went off. first stop was at.
Neufchater. we slept here from
midnight till near 7-30 moved
out had breakfast filled up
with apples at the orchard and
moved on to abbeville. had lunch at

Today A 9284 machine with
Lieut Howard forced a Hun
to land and drove another
down, I was the Engineman &
G. Kimpton the rigger on this
machine this was the first deed
to be done by 68 Sqd
