struck and cleaned up.

We moved out at 6 PM.

we got there.

Today could not go in

to go ashore, but were

not fruitful only officers

our hopes of

land of Malta were

not yet altogether

chipping for leave feeling

justified in so doing

while lying in porte.

A sports Commite was

arranged with a brilliant

showing future, till the Sergts

went on leave to purchase

the required presents without first

consulting the commitie, so they

withdrew and all went smash

again we started a hue & cry
20 Saturday

for going ashore and at 2 PM

we were formed up and taken 

for a route march

we had about 3 hours

on shore C.O and all and

returned to the vessel

much contented, The Maltese

are a fine class, the women

are quite beautiful, all seem to

dress in the same headgear

Today we has Service in

the morning

We sailed at 4 pM. Today.

At about 6 o'clock this

morning, we sighted

the coast of Sicily and passed 

the straits of (Misena)

another of cheese & Biscuits

we slept in a huddled

up of ashore, being 8 in

a compartment, we were

ordered not to go purchasing

at the Buffet, later on

we received a little

better rashons

we stopped at Havre

at 4AM.

the boat again

Got on train and went

to London ( ) changed

trains and took the

Piccadilly underground

Elec train, after two of these

we took the train to

Grantham 11 PM waited there

till the later train brought

our Kits. Then we camped

till 7AM

(31) we marched went in lorries to the

aero camp, Had breakfast

allotted to tents Huts,

and issued with beds 4 Blankets
