Dear mother & Dad There is not much

to write about this week as I have

had no letters. I have however had two

parcels which had no cards in, but I

surpose they came from you. One was

a pack of cards, a box of dominoes &

50 cig's. The other was 50 cig's. Unfortunatly

were Lloyd's Bondman which are

English & I had hoped to get some

Australian ones. N.Z. won the rugby

last week-end, but not as easely

as I thought they would, it was a very

good game. Last Sunday night we

had the first snow of the year &

x monday morning there was about

4 inches on the ground, but it was

not very cold & the snow started

to melt straight away & it has been

very slushy ever since. I expect before

long it will be freezing. Well it looks

as though I will be spending another

birthday in Germany, I never expected

to spend more than one when we arrived

here last year. I hope you are all well at

home. I have quite recovered from the flu.

Cheerio Lots of Love

Dear Mother & Dad I sorry it is so long

since I wrote, but it is so very hard to

think of anything to write about that wont

be cut out by the censor. I got a letter

from John on xmas eve & was very pleased

to get it as it is only the 2nd I have had

from him. I also had one from you a few days

before, telling me about land being made

available, which I was glad to hear about &

I hope you can get me some in a good

district. I was quite interested to hear about

my letters, but I dont remember what those

particular ^ones were about & am rather curious.

Because ^judging by things said in some letters I've

seen the P.O.W mag seems to do it's best to

make people think we are having a pleasant

holiday here. And if this is a holiday I

sincerely hope I never have another one!!

Well this does not seem a very cheerfull

letter, but it is not realy to bad here, only

it annoys me, when I hear of people in

our own country saying what a good time

we are having. The same kind of fools that

said we joined up to get a trip for nothing.

We had quite a good xmas with plenty to eat.

Best of Love to all
