Letters from Kenneth Jack Young to his family, 1917 - Part 5
4
Suppose it will take some considerable time
to get us aLL back to Ausie - again unless
they put a big fleet of ships to work.
I have not lost the wee Bible you
gave me the night before I left. I would
not like to lose that - above all things -
Yet it is a Hard job sometimes to
stick to things - You know I lost most
of my belongings - but in spite of this
I managed to cling To aLL Keep sakes,
and a "plum pudding" Aunt H sent me.
I stuck To that - Rather.
Well I wiLL have to close - the same
old thing - no news
I hope you are all quite well
Love to May and Connie & to all
the others
With much to you Both
Yours Ever,
Ken xxxxxx
