For H from Blomdeel. Caught up to 200 Japs at SEMALOEMSENG.
Sent recces who reported Japs left during night. Some of their
baggage was found ½ hour xxxx further on. Approaching Barang
dump one of my troops saw some Japs immediately my troops opened
fire with SMGs. Japs returned fire with one heavy MG. killed
7 Japs certain. Our losses 1 dead 1 wounded hand. Send you all
Jap documents from MALINAU. Sending Cpl Boelang to L BARANG with
troop to guard on SEMBAKONG planes bombed and machine gunned
SEMALOEMOENG for 3 days. 2nd July one crashed, buried remains
of pilot.. No ident. My job here will be completed within about
3 weeks. Expect in next drop clothing including hats boots weapons
including rifles carbines. 45 postol and ammo. Cleaning material
W/T set. Planes still bombing MENSALONG . Japs have left 2 weeks
ago. Please stop.

5 deg ? mins keeping large Japs 2 killed 2 wounded in jungle. Remainder
being cleared out jungle Leckie making strike at PUNAM TENGOA point has
not given date. Request no air strike on PA TENGOA while recognition
signals are on ground there. Can he have dawn air strike 18. No smoke
signals no strike PUNAM TENGOA. Same instruction to him clearing area as
before. Efforts 200 enemy moving to PA TENGOA from SEBULU. Both DA Ross
and W7 striking this force. Leckie request drop food and med supplies at
at PA TENGOA . Disperse 65 follow heavy.

This received from SEMUT 1A. For H. Nr. 54. TENGOA houses rather
badly damaged after strafing. BRAYONG. No details available regarding
strafe there yet. 2 enemy captured. Unable. Both very ill cannot be
questioned. Enemy were in ULU TENGOA 2 miles from PA TENGOA on river Tang.
Party of coolies and 2 men ambushed about 2 hours from LIPI on way to
TENGOA got back to TRUSAN O K and had all the equipment they started with.
This crossing was left open for 4 days when W7 left for TENGOA against
enemy. 5 have yet to return to SEBULU immediately. Da Rosa is now at SEBULU
has gone out to get Japs. Should have report 16. TEMBUIONG. Gibbs did
patrol in this area along. Reports KUBOK 3 Japs killed. BRAOAN 13 killed.
3 miles from BRAOAN 11 killed. Gibbs wounded not seriously. And 20 natives
pursuing 6 who escaped. BATU APOI TEMBUIONG area mostly clear now. Patrols
still out in this area. BIANG intelligence. Report of Japs at BT MALAU
S3 agrees. Plenty recruits from TRUSAN and BATU APOI.

in TRUSAN area. no enemy killed in air strike 10th. Straffed BRAYON in
error. W7 reports finding 15 Japanese bodies on TRUSAN TENGOA road.
Still no details available on straff. Telephone broken down. hope it
O.K. 15th. No report from patrol.

I60 enemy coming from Trusan. No further information from our patrols
that area or from natives. Re this force. No enemy contacted between
Pa Tengoa and Ulu Tengoa. One dead Jap in house qona killed by Native
troops. Extra track put by enemy is thought will bypass Pa Mateng.
Food position very bad that area. Natives returning from jungle
front in village. S.3. left this day for Tengoa.
