Action taken jungles N against enemy troops Iburu Bole area from
19th to 22nd.Attacked Buntang morning of 22nd Killed 20 enemy. 3
prisoners taken. Ambushes laid on 3 Buntang Bole Tomani resulted
24 enemy killed. Equipment captured included ilmf identification
papers. Aggresive action continuing in form of quick strikes and
constant attack from prepared ambushes. Tomani Tagals giving
good support with blowpipe patrols on jungles. Food must must be
removed or burnt.

prisoner 22nd at Iburu. Reliably good. Approx 400 enemy including
officers and N.C.O's passing through Bole area. Intention move
to Tenom via Tomani (F) I5645 and Kemabong (F) I5743.Force split
into parties approx strenght I20 which move forward on alternate
days. Moving fast leaving sick weak behind to die on track. Arms
include LMG's and rifles much heavy equipment thrown away on
route. Morale poor owing shortage food and much sickness and
long time on track. Three doctors moving with enemy. Constant aircraft
strikes fromTenom to Tomani as proposed by A.I. should have
decivise effect on move. Full report on way.

from Long MYI0 immediately. Apparent intention enemy is to
