that we are only allowed to write so
often. So I want you to write & tell the
misses that I am allright & not to worry
as we are getting fairly well treated &
that we are allowed to receive Parcels
but they must not go over ten lbs weight

so you can send me out some cheese biscuits cakes

& tined meet
& chocolate & jam & Pudding's oat meal ones
you can send any kind of eatables So you can

Tell Ethel also & you can keep them coming
every week as you can send as many as
you like as long as they are not above
ten lbs. You can tell Ethel that I never
received her Parcel as I was captured
the day it arrived hoping she has
received it back again allright &
might tell that woman in James
Street where I am & I am allright
& tell Ethel if she is writing to Jane tell
her where I am & remember me to

Father & Ned & Nora & all inquirers but

be sure & dont forget to send a Parcel

as soon as you get this they are supposed

to travell free & also some smokes & I

will fix every thing up when i come home
