I am a private in was Battalion A.F.F &ha the wounded at the Dardanetles on August invalided home to England on 12 Sept 15 th where I have been ever since. When I was in Hospital some people came to see me of course made friends straight away, & now I am writing this to you just to let you know how the people of the home land act as mothers do. they have treated the Rustralians with all the respect they posess & they cant do too much for us. however we are going to have a splendid Christmas for the invitations are splendid & I dont think I am doing (over)
